Welcome to North Bute Primary School

North Bute is a small, co-educational, non-denominational primary school covering the stages from Primary 1 to Primary 7. The school is situated in Port Bannatyne, which is two and a half miles north of Rothesay on the Isle of Bute. The Island is 15 miles long and has a population of over 7000. The school is at the edge of the village on the shores of Kames Bay with a beautiful outlook over the waters of the bay towards the hills of Cowal.

The school’s catchment area includes the rural areas at the north end of the island as well as the village of Port Bannatyne.
